Out with the Old...
Wow...  I can't believe it's here.

For those who don't know, Advanced Budget Studios resides as a single bedroom rigged up as a recording studio in my basement.

Thanks to all of you, I'd like to announce, both sadly, and beyond excitedly, that I have outgrown this little single-room studio.  The acoustics, the size, and the location of this studio are limiting our recordings, and I can't take it anymore.

With that said...

...I'd like to announce that (if everything goes according to plan), as of two weeks from tomorrow, we are selling our home, and will have to move out.

Advanced Budget Studios will have its last session one week from yesterday before I'll have to pack up everything and close up shop.

Well... That's enough of the sad sob-story, anyway.

In 4 to 6 months, a brand-new studio will be built and Advanced Budget Studios will be in full operation again, and this time it won't be in a make-shift single bedroom studio.

The new studio will be approximately 5-times the size of the old one, and will be built from the ground-up as a professional recording studio.  There will be 3 separate recording rooms as well as a control room, and a lounge.  It will be totally isolated from external sounds.  Two of the three live rooms will have 10-foot ceilings, and will be spacious.  The only limitation of the new studio's recordings will be our own creativity.

I - cannot - wait - for - it - to - be - built !!!!

Anyway... I'll keep you all updated on the progress, and will attach photos as it is built.

(I probably should have sent this update sometime next week, but I coudln't contain the excitement!)

That's awesome Jason! But I sure will miss the luxury of walking to the studio.
