Song In Progress
Not sure why I'm writing about this now, because I usually just finish the thing and then announce it at the same time as I share it.
I guess this song is a complete deviation from anything I've done in the past. Heh... Just now I'm realizing that I don't even have a name for this song yet. I could call it "My Friend", but I could also call it "Tormented", and either could suit it just fine. Hmmm... Maybe I'll think about that a bit more.
At about the same time I started writing this song, I was getting a bit into the band NightWish, so this song has a lot of theatrical metal influences. Yeah, I know... It'll definitely be a "stray from the path" for me. I just hope I can get the point of the song across.
As usual, the most prominent portion of the song will contain instruments I can't play, so I'll most likely be hunting down friends of mine who play guitar and bass soon.
Oh yeah... I'm also learning how to play the guitar, and so far, I'm really enjoying it.
Anyway... That's about it.
I anticipate the song being completed in about a month. Hmm.... I also need a female vocalist for this one. Someone who can sing Amy Lee-ish. (ahem... Hailey??? I'll be callin' ya...)

I'm curious what the song will eventually sound like. Anyway, if your friends don't have time to play the guitar for you I'm more than happy to give it a try... :P
