Omni
I thought I had to substitute teach the 15-16 year old class today, so I prepared it this morning, only to find out I didn't.
That's okay, because the gospel doctrine teacher we have is amazing, and I got to sit in his class!
Omni....
One of the best lines of this chapter is in verse 2. "I myself am a wicked man". I'm not sure why I'm drawn to that line, but.... ohwell...
The other part of this chapter which catches my attention is the part about the Mulekites being found by the Nephites.
The phrase, "their language had become corrupted" causes me to wonder just what the word "language" means in this context. I've written about this before with 1st Nephi 1, and 2nd Nephi 31:3. Not entirely sure what the word "language" means, because in this context, I believe it means more than just the means of communicating verbally.
Anyway...
Verse 26 is also a good one. What is required to offer up one's "whole soul" unto God?
