Mormon : 7 - Guiltless
"Remnant of this people". Talking straight to the American Indians. heh.. I love the foresight.
Guiltless... I love that word. He that is found guiltless. Please note it does not say "sinless".
To be found guiltless. What would that entail? Continual repentance would probably be an ingredient, along with faith, prayer, and obedience, among others, I'm sure.
The thought of standing before the presence of God has always been one that has caused me both anxiety and wonder. Doing so while being guilty would probably make me want to shrivel up and die (Somewhat like Alma 12:14 and Mormon 9:3,4)
However... Doing so while being "found guiltless", I imagine to be one of the most beautiful experiences one could have. Knowing that through Jesus Christ, I have been made clean, and pure, and able to stand before God guiltless to enter into His kingdome and reign for eternity.
Well.. I guess I've got a lot of work to do. Best be gettin' on my knees.
Great chapter.
