So, Advanced Budget Studios took a bit of a break during the holidays, and with that came the usual curiosity as to how the new year would be.
Well, I'd have to say that 2011 is looking
great. We started off the year recording a wonderful new artist named Taylor Miller. He'll have a website up soon, and his music sounds fabulous! I'll see if I can't get a sample of him on our samples page soon.
The next project comes from... Well... I don't even know where it came from to be honest. A guy named Dwayne Strickland from a recording forum contacted me and wanted me to record drums, mix, and master a song to be played on the radio. His band is called Lorica, and his song, "The Tie That Binds" is available to stream from both the
clients page and the
samples page. Good stuff right there, my friends. Good stuff indeed.
In the near future, we'll be recording some long-awaited vocal sessions to round-out the first demo-album from Lucid 8 (these guys are awesome! We've been waiting for vocals now for months!), as well as some sure-to-be-amazing vocal talent from one of Jen Marco Handy's students, and more great bands.
Yup.. So far, 2011 is looking to be quite the musical year.
Thanks for everyone's continued support!
