3 Nephi : 18
Sometimes I read the scriptures because doing so fills me with the Spirit. Today was one of those times. I need the spirit tonight.
This chapter is loaded with details on the Sacrament and serving the Sacrament in congregations.
Favorite verse was 32, "Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out of your synagogues, or your places of worship, for unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them."
We never know what is in the heart of he who has gone wayward. The only thing we are commanded to do is to not judge them, nor throw them out, and to love them - and continue loving them. Sometimes that's all that's needed, but needed for a long time. True love, Christ-like love is the main ingredient in working miracles.
