Alex Bateman
You know those types of musicians...  The ones that just "get it".  They don't worry much about writing the music, but rather, it seems to write itself.  Now, I'm not going to put words in his mouth, but it sure seems like this is the case with Alex Bateman.

He came in, knew what he wanted, and the way he wanted his recording to sound.

It's not usual that a musician comes in and says flat-out, "I don't want my music to sound as good as you can make it sound."  He also wanted to sing and play at the same time while being recorded, which is pretty unusual here.

So...  We complied, and the result is a great sounding demo, with an appeal that really is heart-felt.

Thanks for coming in, Alex.

Oh, and here's a photo of the microphone cage we built around Alex.  Thank heavens he didn't have to leave in a hurry, because I don't think he could have.

Love it. The song and the "lo-fi" recording are great.
