ScramJet begins the journey...
Wow... What a week this has been!

Yesterday, we welcomed in a new client, ScramJet to the studio by running a recording marathon with them!

We pulled a full 8-hour session and all through yesterday, we managed to get recordings for three whole songs.  By the end of the day, our engineer was ready to collapse.

Today, they all came back to flesh out a bit of the guitars, fix some timing, get rid of a few phasing issues, and we're sure that when the next session is through, we'll have three new songs in ABS's arsenal of pristine work.

Fading Quickly, Firebird, and Somewhere all seem to harbor an alternative energetic edgy feel within them, and as they are, they're almost ready burst.

We can't wait to get some vocals laid in these rockin' songs!

Thanks for coming in, guys!  See ya back in a few!

Jason (Advanced Budget Studios) is a rare combination of technical wizard, musician, and timing Nazi. I mean the Nazi part in the best way, as a guitarist it was wonderful to have someone as responsive and sensitive to getting everything just right. I have had the opportunity of recording at two other studios one clocking in at the 100's of dollars per hour, and the attention to detail, quality of work that we received from Jason was off the charts. He is tirelessly working and there is never a down moment for him, constantly editing and fixing and making every second you pay for count. I would highly recommend Advanced Budget Studios work to anyone, but listen to his recordings, and if you have a musicians ear you will know that they speak to you, hear the call, and get your songs out to the world. Advanced Budget Studios is closer to production than sound engineering, i would categorize your ABS experience as time with a sound engineeer/music consultant/timing expert/technological wunderkind who doesn't need all of the above?

Hey Brad!  Thank you so much for your kind words.  I've taken the liberty of posting them in the "testimonials" section of the main website.  (you might have to refresh that page a few times before it comes up)  I can't wait for the next session!  These songs are gonna rock!
