Remo Ambassador Black Suede
Through the 20 plus years I've been playing drums, I've had all sorts of drumkits, and I've used all sorts of heads.  Well, it came time to replace my snare head recently, and I was offered a new type of head by Remo.

The Remo Ambassador Black Suede is a single-ply head which is meant to offer a softer sound without muffling the inherent resonances of the drum.

I currently use a gretsch 14" snare, and I've always felt it could sound a little better.  I've waffled between Evans and Remo for my heads, but I tell ya.  I think I'm gonna be using this Black Ambassador for quite some time.  I love the sound of it.

Anyway...  That's about it for now.
