Just thought I'd let ya all know that I did something yesterday that I haven't done in years, if I've ever done it before at all..

Turns out I had band practice for two bands on the same night.  So, beginning at 4:30, and lasting until 11:30, I was at band practice.

I don't think I've ever played the drums for 7 hours straight.  My hands hurt, and by the end of the 4th set (each band had two sets), I was gripping the sticks as if they were tree branches (4-finger, thumb wrap-around), and missing more than I was hitting. hehe....

Through the middle of the 2nd set, I noticed my right hand was a bit moist.  "That's odd...", I thought.  So, when I took a look, I saw that I had both created and popped a blood-blister on my middle finger.   ...and I still had 2 more sets to go.

Anyway...  Both of my hands are a tad-bit swollen today, but I can still type.  ...and now I'm blabbering.

I'll stop now.  I like playing drums.  I don't like blisters.
