Gen. Conf. - Book with Promise - Christensen
Man, I need to write more about spiritual stuff.  I've been slacking a bit.

Anyway, the talk given about the Book of Mormon by Elder Christensen was really a good one.

It brought back sweet memories of my life.  Early on, during my mission, I taught a family who had been been searching for the Book of Mormon for years.  Of course, when we found them, we were delighted to give it to them.  They were definitely a golden family.  The mother of them all had already read the entire book of Mormon by the time we got around to having the first discussion.  Quite a few tears were shed during their conversion process.

It also brought back memories of me reading the Book of Mormon and gaining my own personal testimony of it.

My testimony of the Book of Mormon is quite simple.  I know it's true.  I know Nephi was a real human being who lived here and did exactly as the Book of Mormon says he did.  He was a prophet of God.  Same with all the other accounts in the book.  It's true.  It's true both historically and doctrinally.  The things spoken of about Christ in the Book of Mormon are as true as the modern sciences are about math and physics, if not more so.

I know this.

This was a great talk, which for some reason gave me the spiritual promptings of sweet memories.
