First, how do you feel toward your mom and your dad?  What did she or your father do and why? These are questions you should ask your parents.

Second, what's done is done.  You can't control your parents actions even though they effect you.  What you can control is your attitude and how you feel toward life and everything that has happened to you.  It may be hard sometimes, but when it's hardest that is when it counts the most.

I challenge you to make yourself happy.  Anyone can be happy in any situation.  You just have to find new things to think about and those talents you may not know you have.

What kind of house do you live in?  What is your house made of?  Answer me these quetions and you'll see where I'm going with this.

You say your house is made of wood and brick?  I want you to write me a letter about brick.  Get creative.  Find new things about brick you've never heard of or even thought to be true.  Search and write it all out for me.  In time you'll see what I'm getting at.

                Hi!

I was told this story by this man.  This women was listening to a man talk about life and how to make it better.  He was doing an assembly for some people and having a great time.  After the assembly was over this women came up to him and told him that she never had a chance in life ( I'm not saying you don't have a chance in life because I know you do).  He could've sat her down and told her everything he knew about life, but instead he asked her a question about where she lives or something.  She was ,of corse, confused.  She answered his question with the answer of "bricks."  He told her he wanted her to write him a letter about bricks.  She, of course thought him to be crazy, but she went home and wrote him a letter on bricks.  It turns out she found a LOT of stuff on bricks.  She pretty much wrote a book instead of a letter.  There was a place all about bricks near her home that she went to.  She also found stuff on the internet (what can't you do on the internet?).  She sent her 'letter' to him.  When all that was over he said "Now, write me a letter about ants,"  because he asked her what was under the bricks she walked on everyday.  She wrote another 'letter' to him.  When she was finished it turns out that she found a TON of stuff on ants and all of the many (very, very, very many) different kinds of ants.  He wrote back asking if he could change around a few things (grammar and stuff) then send it into the publishers because she wrote over 200 pages to him.  She is now traveling the world from all of the money she made off of that book.  Incredible, huh?  The only thing she needed was her talents - reading and writing.  A simple choice  could change your life.  I thought this story was pretty cool, so I wanted to try it.  If you want to try it you can.  You don't have to make your letter (if you decide to do it) like hers.  You could this story in your life with anything.  You don't have to write a book - just use your talents!

SMILE!

Sorry if this is unorganized.

         Hi!

Ok, hon - use your talents.  Do what you love best.  If you love photography than do that.   Your talents are so important in life.  Just remember:  Heavenly Father loves you and gave you those talents for a reason.

SMILE!
