1st Nephi : 5
Man... I'm just tired.  Today was weird..  So...

Studying chapter 5 right now, I'm brought to another realization that even the families of Prophets aren't perfect (hello, Lehi was a prophet, and he managed to have Laman and Lemuel...)

The specifics to which I refer is Sariah's murmuring, and reaction when she saw her 4 boys return from what she thought was certain death.  She said "now I know...that the Lord hath commanded my husband...",  this tells me that beforehand, there were doubts.  Seems like everyone's gotta be tested here on this earth.  Even the wives of prophets.

The rest of the chapter, to me, is just putting emphasis on the the importance of scriptures and keeping the commandments.

It's also cool to note that while reading the scriptures, Lehi was moved to prophesy about the plates of Brass (which I interpret to be the Bible) should go forth into all nations.

That's all for this chapter.
