What to write today...
Let's see what I can get written in 5 minutes tonight.
Work is going quite well. I'm learning tons about Linux and administrating SLES9 servers. This might turn to my advantage because I have a friend (the ever popular Linux evangelist Scott Morris... yeah, that guy) who works at Novell (where I used to work) who will accept some tutorials written about SLES. Oh yeah.... Bring it on, baby.
One more day this week and it's all over. Until it begins again on Monday. This week hasn't been bad, but man.. Talk about learning the hard way. I thought I knew Linux until the server I had been over for less than 2 days (and knew nothing about) was thought to have a cracker in its midst. Before that , I knew nothing of rootkits or anything of the sort. Now, I'd say I'm an intermediate hacker (yeah right... Black Hat, here I come).
Now along this same vein, I simply must say. Steve Dibb is the coolest ever. He has helped me so much through this admin trial of fire. All I gotta say is: what comes around goes around - and you got nothing but good comin' your way, Steve. Thanks.
Anyway.... Tomorrow I hope to have completed at work what I'm supposed to have completed (minus 2 full days working on a suspected attack)... So.. Yeah...
Sorry for the boring post. I just didn't have that eventful of a day, but I thought I should blog still. So there ya go. There's your blog from Poetic Intensity. Hope ya liked it. I also hope MS Windows dies and rots, but that's beside the point. I'm just glad I'm the admin over Linux. because Linux rocks. and windows sucks. and I'm bored. and so are you.
Okay, I'll be quiet... But only if you give me a twinkie.
I hate twinkies.
and bingo.
