So... To be honest, this chapter is kind of confusing. Verse 1 and 2 is like Moroni is talking directly to Joseph Smith, due to his referencing the ability to "translate". That in itself is kind of cool. I've often thought what it must have been like to be Joseph Smith receiving the plates and translating when he gets to parts like this, where people who lived 2000 years ago are speaking directly to him. Anyway...
It's interesting that Moroni, from time to time, interjects the whole "If you don't believe this record to be true, be careful - because at the last day, you'll pretty much have to tell me to my face that the record I created isn't true." That would be kind of awkward.
