3 Nephi : 22 - 23
Chapter 22 was another toughy, but I figure I'm gonna better my life if I read and am only able to type a tiny bit, rather than not read at all.

I guess my brain is still getting over this sickness, because I find it difficult to do any critical thinking.  Anyway...

I found it interesting the bit about "more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife"  Seems like society is headin' down that direction...  The less important the family is in society, the worse society becomes.

Chapter 23 is a cool one.    Nothin' like The Master himself commanding us all to read and understand the words of Isaiah.  If I'm being honest with myself, I know there are times when I am in sync with the Spirit on such a level, that the words of Isaiah have made sense to me, but it's few and far between when that happens.

...and then there's catching the ommission of a scripture.  Watching our savior reprimand is quite enlightening.  He seemed very methodical.  He made sure Nephi understood exactly what he was talking about, showed him the book where I'm sure it was ommitted, verified that the words had been spoken, told him twice what should have been written, than then told him to go make the correction.  Lots of teaching and understanding through love going on there.  Another great example.
