For The Love of The Craft
Take a moment, now, and think about what you'd do if you had access to unlimited funds, and didn't have to "work" another day of your life.

I once heard a multi-millionaire state that, "money brings out with clarity, that which is inside you."  If you love to watch football with a passion, then having loads of money would free up more time for you to watch even more football.  If you are an avid mountain-climber, then you'll be climbing a lot more mountains.

For me, the answer to what I would do with unlimited funds is easy.

I'd make the most efficient world-class recording studio in existence, period.

Look at your life, and look at the activities you participate in.  What keeps coming back to you?  Where is your time spent?  What are you passionate about?

For me, there are two things that are in relentless pursuit of my time, and have been ever since I can remember.  The one pertinent to this blog is music, in all of its glorious forms.  Listening to music, creating music, recording music, studying music.  It has always been either a direct part of my life, or in close pursuit.  I can't get rid of it.

When the idea came to start getting serious about my little recording studio, I had my doubts.  I didn't want money interfering with one of my biggest passions in life.  I didn't want to make music into a form of "work".

But then I took a step back and realized how much I deal with music - even on a day-to-day basis.  I came to the conclusion that I'm already dealing with music to a large degree.  Why not give my passion the ability to pay my bills?

That was pretty much the beginning of Advanced Budget Studios.

We've been at it now for over a year, and quite honestly, the response has been much, much greater than I thought it would be.  I can't think of a single client who has been anything but thrilled with the process and the product we provide here.  Why is that?

The only thing I can come up with is that we're different.  In this studio, it will never be about the money.  The focus has always been and always will be, "How can we most efficiently capture your vision, and make it become reality?" When considering it's music, keeping that perspective comes naturally.

So, as long as I am able, I'll continue to produce and record your music, enabling musical folks like you to come in on a budget and leave with a beautiful piece of musical artwork, you probably thought you'd never be able to afford.

Thank you all for your help in making this become my reality.  Without your support, this would still be only a dream.

That is a great thought. I have always admired people who followed their passion, and it is awesome that you are making it happen.

I think I would be a painter (fine art), film director/producer, or music producer. I would definitely do something creative because I would go crazy without an outlet of some kind.
