I'm always slightly dumbfounded while pondering on the things that wicked men come up with to justify the signs given by prophets...

"Oh no, we can't hit this guy who is telling us we're wicked, so he must have a devil!  GET HIM!"

"Oh my!  All these miracles that are happening just as the prophets said they would - can't possibly mean anything.  Besides they can't ALL come true!"

Sheesh...  Anything to justify their wicked lifestyle.

For some reason, I also find myself pondering upon the small and simple things God has given us upon which to hold fast - in order to stay close to the truth.  1. Read your scriptures.  2. Say your prayers. 3. Make and keep your covenants.  4. Go to church and serve.  Do those four things with consistency, and sincerity, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have the spirit of God in your life - and thus, will most likely stay true to Christ and His teachings.

With so many fountains of information literally at our fingertips now-a-days, it's easy to become sidetracked, or confused, or mis-lead.  Yet, the path God set in the beginning is still the same path, in the same place, going the same driection.

God willing, I must do my best to stay true to those simple things.  Besides...  It makes me happy.  I like being happy.

I like being happy, too, and I'm glad we've got the Word of God to hang on to when the darkness that's out there would cloud our perspective.  Timely posting, again. Thanks.
