Well... Not really. They're done, but I'm not. So....
You know you've just had an incredible recording session when everyone has gone home AND it's
1:45AM, and you can't get yourself to go to bed, because you know how good the end product will be after mixing and mastering...
...SO you spend the next 1.5 hours mixing and mastering one song, and by the end, you're so delirous, you can barely breathe, and can't help but dread getting up in the morning for the day job, but man...
...through all that, you take one last listen to the song, and everything just makes sense. Ya feel it all the way through to the tips of the raised hairs on the back of your neck, and think, "Yup... It was worth it."
Over 10 hours later, and Fatigi now has 3 songs ready to mix and master.... Well, 2, really, because I just finished the first one.
From Adam's incredible guitar work, to Robert's insane bass skills, and right back to Christian - one of the best drummers I've ever had the honor of recording in this studio - this session was heaven.
...and yes... I know I need a haircut, okay? (a couple of sedatives might not hurt, either)
