Hmm.... Another war started by another group of dissenters. Man alive... Seems like the story is all the same. People who want to rule another nation end up being sparked and fed by dissenters of the nation they want to rule (think of Amalickiah)... *sigh*
The latter half of this chapter is a great reminder of what happens when we seek to become a power unto ourselves. When we decide we are better off witihout God in our lives, or that we somehow have earned and are entitled to the blessings we live with.
As soon as that happens, God has a way of making it very apparent that He is the one who gave the blessings, and He can certainly take them away.
