I'm always pleased and grateful that the Spirit comes so quickly when I read the Book of Mormon. Sometimes I forget how much I love how the Spirit of God makes me feel and think and act.
Anyway... Great chapter this was....
Of all of the stories in the Book of Mormon, I think I like the one of the 2000 Stripling Warriors the best. What great courage, valiance, integrity, faith, and strength they had.
This chapter begins the many ways in which the 2000 young warriors helped the Nephites. When I think of the type of person I would have to be to be included in such an army, I become somewhat depressed.... hehe.. Yeah, I've got a long way to go, but at the same time, I also realize that the only person keeping me from becoming such a person - is me.
No doubt God would be my greatest champion in a quest to obtain all the Christian traits held by the Stripling Warriors, but man, what a daunting task.
