A few months ago, I thought I'd get a bit more serious about setting up a
semi-professional studio in my home. It's worked out great, so far!
As I've worked with clients, they've been more than happy with the results, and I'm learning new techniques and tricks of the trade at the same time. So far, so good.
So, along this trail, I bumped into some music from
a site which I thought sounded wonderful, all except the drums, that is. So, I asked the producer if I could have a shot at recording my drums to his tune. He said yes, arranged everything that I needed, and a few hours later, I had a mix of the song which both he and I thought was much, much richer, fuller, and better than it had previously been. So, he asked if I'd do it for his other tunes. I told him I'd need to get paid for it, and he agreed.
The rest is (hopefully) soon to be history.
So far, I've got two clients who have me playing drums to their tunes regularly, and so I began thinking how I could promote myself a bit more, and of course, I knew I needed a website.
So, without futher ado, I present to you,
Advanced Online Drums. If you know anyone who might need great sounding drums to their song, please feel free to send them my way.
Here's to audio engineering, music, and (of course) DRUMS!
