Hmm... I really like when prophets, like Alma, quote other prophets to make a point. The best way to keep the doctrine pure is to look the reference up. Otherwise, it inevitably will be diluted down. Ain't no doctrine like pure doctrine.
Interesting that the quote from Zenos in verses 4-11 is paraphrased beautifully in Alma 37:36-37, while talking to his son Helaman. I wonder if it was inspired by the recent recounting of that scripture to the Zoramites.
Hmmm... The last verse is interesting in that the blessing which comes from nourishing the seed of faith until it becomes a tree springing up unto everlasting life, is that your burdens may become light through the joy of Jesus Christ. Hmm... Seems true to me.
