Gen. Conf. - Blessed - Monson
This was the last talk given in the April General Conference of 2008, and President Monson did a wonderful job.
I love how he wants to be personal with us, to tell us of his family and his experiences. I feel the love coming from him and know he loves the Savior.
Not having watched many talks given by President Monson as president of the church, I'm still sort of in awe at the power which he has, and the change which has been wrought upon him with the new mantle he bears.
There is no doubt in my mind that President Monson is God's prophet on earth today, and I'll anxiously await the next time I get to hear him speak to the church. Not only to the church as a whole, but to me. It feels as though he is speaking to me, personally.
As President Monson feels, so do I. I feel so abundantly blessed with the many privileges and blessings which come from church membership and Gospel living. I would find myself lost without them.

I feel the same way you do Jas. I haven't got to this talk yet, but the others that I have read from him this last conference are just wonderful. You can really feel the new mantle that he bears. I really loved how all the apostles that spoke also testified of that. It is a great comfort to know that the leadership in our church follow Jesus Christ and he will never lead us astray. I have complete faith and love President Monson.
