Gen. Conf. - The Twelve - Packer
The spirit of this talk came to me about 1/3 of the way through reading it.
It spoke to me of an immense gratitude which I feel for being a member of this church. Not only is it this church, but it is His church. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the same church which Jesus Christ himself set up when he was here on earth.
I can't really explain the depth of gratitude I feel for this, because it encompasses my whole life.
Every major decision in my life has been made because of my reliance upon Jesus Christ.
Having the authority of the Priesthood - the same authority which was given to the disciples in Jesus' time - means quite a bit to me. When I really think about it, I'm somewhat dumbfounded at it.
Anyway... I'm just very, very grateful to be part of His church. May I do my best to do my part better each and every day.
