2nd Nephi : 32
This chapter, to me, is all about following the Spirit.
Verses 3 and 5 are among the most potent in all of scripture.
"Feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do."
"...the Holy Ghost ... will show unto you all things what ye should do."
Doesn't get any clearer than that, and I can testify personally that this is true.
The more I rely on God to show me the way, the more I get pointed in a direction which brings me happiness.
Then there's verse 8. I've relied on this scripture multiple times when I was in doubt of my own personal worthiness to kneel down and pray. If Nephi tells me the evil spirit is the one who persuades me to believe in my unworthiness to pray, you bet your patootie I'll believe him.
Whenever I think I'm not worthy to pray, not surprisingly, this verse pops in my head and what do ya know... I find the strength to pray. Kind of funny how that works.
Worthiness isn't required for prayer. That's one thing every human on earth is able to do.
