How Grateful I Am
I know a lot of the posts this year have been on the spiritual topic, but, I write about the events of my life, and so I guess this is what ya get.

Today was awesome.

If you've read my previous posts, you'll know that today I sang in the choir, gave a talk in sacrament meeting, and taught the 15-16 year old doctrine class.

It was wonderful.

I think I liked it so much because of the Spirit.  Whenever stuff gets loaded on me on Sunday, and I take it on, knowing that God will help me to do the best I can, I usually have a wonderful day!  God always comes through for me.

The talk went wonderfully.  It brought the spirit, some tears, some bearing of truth of the atonement of Christ, and hopefully helped someone in the congregation strengthen their testimony.

The choir songs could have gone better, but there wasn't much practice, and I could feel the stress of the other two demands weighing on my mind, thus distracting me from the music.  Steven Harward always helps me stay on track, though.  He's got a great voice.

Teaching the 15-16 year olds was equally as awesome.  One of the "troubled" girls in the class, at the end, asked if I could be their teacher for good.  I thought that was an awesome compliment, and truth be told, I'd love to teach em'.  Great kids, they are.

Anyway...  We then all went up to mom's house and chatted with David and Lorena (they're back from Mexico), and that was really cool.  The whole family was there, and life was good (as well as the food).

And that's about it!  I've gotta read 2nd Nephi 30 tonight, so I better get on that.
