2nd Nephi : 27
In the beginning of this chapter, I didn't realize that the book to which the verses were referring was the Book of Mormon.
I guess this chapter answers the question, "What is in the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon?". The answer is quite simply found in verse 10: "...for behold, they reveal all things from the foundation of the world unto the end thereof."
Pretty cool.
The rest of this chapter is about the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, the three witnesses (and the eight), and such.
Verse 27 is a very interesting one, indeed. I don't believe this type of language is found anywhere else in scripture. Basically, God is telling us that truth will be told by the things which lived. Things which both had agency to act, and things which were to be acted upon.
I love it, for its simplicity. You won't be able to tell the Lord you didn't drink the beer, when the beer itself confesses you were the one who drank it. Kind of a weird way of looking at things, but that's what it's saying to me, at least.
