2nd Nephi : 7
I wrote for 2nd Nephi 6, that I was having a hard time understanding Isaiah.  Well...  This chapter is nothing but Isaiah, and I thought it was very beautiful.

Verses 1-3 are poetry.

I immediately thought of a person asking the question: "Where is the Lord now, during my time of suffering and trial?"...

...and this chapter is the Lord's response.

Every time we think the Lord has turned away from us, it is overly apparent (by scriptures like this) that it is not the Lord who has turned away.

We are as close to God as we want to be.  God always wants us close.

Simply beautiful.

I hope chapter 8 is as easy to understand.
