Writing...
I've been finding it hard to write / blog lately, simply because I have no desire to write. I've been thinking about this for a bit, so I decided to write about ... writing.
In order to write / blog, I have to have something to write about - obviously. What isn't so obvious is, I always have something to write about.
I came to that conclusion as I was thinking about my life in the past week, where no blogging has occurred, and constrasted it against weeks where I've blogged 1, 2 and even sometimes 3 times per day.
Was I living differently while I was writing a lot? No. Not really.
So, what's the difference? Well.. It's the way I feel about life. It's the way I feel about the stuff I'm doing with my time.
Christmas came this year, and it was an awesome Christmas! Did I write about it?
Nope.
Why? I'm not exactly sure. Even as I write this right now, ideas are coming to my head about things I should have written about, but didn't see any value in the experience at the time.
I guess the moral of the story is this:
If you enjoy writing and want to write better and more often, but lack incentive or motivation, write anyway - write anything - heck, write about writing!
and ideas will come to you before you know it.
I'm gonna blog about Christmas stuff now.
