Well, people....  Most of yesterday (until this morning around 12:30am) I spent trying to figure out what to do about my email situation.

Here's my situation:  I get so much friggin' spam, I can't stand it.  This shouldn't be news to anyone.  The person who receives no spam is a person who doesn't have an inbox.

So, I decided to take the matters into my own hands.

Now, my gmail account has been wonderful.  99% of all spam is blocked.  I'm talking about my own personal email server at home.

I did some digging and soon found out the right solution is to completely re-design the way I handle email.

Old setup: Posfix + Pam + Courier

New setup: Postfix + Postgres + Dovecot

Yup.... it works like a charm.

I best be posting some "how-to" on the set up or I'll forget it for sure.   ugh...  Nah... I forgot that I'm backing my whole /etc directory up, so I'm good. :)

Anyway...  Kind of a stupid post, but I had to write something.

Oh yeah... on an non-technical note, I've been watching "So You Think You Can Dance?", and man....  It really is amazing how beautiful those moves can be.  Pretty incredible dancers....
