A Good Sabbath
I just got home from Jovi's baby blessing (Brandon and Chloe's first baby) and it was a pretty cool experience.

Today was a good day because I thought that it was gonna be .... not good.

Yesterday night, I stayed out a bit too late, and thus didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night.  In fact, on my way home, my good friend Steve bought me a Monster, and I saved it for today because I knew it was gonna be a bugger of a day.  Ooohh contraire!

I woke up this morning with the distinct impression to continue fasting as I have been every Sunday for the past month, even though I was already thirsty, and I knew I was gonna be dead-tired by mid-day.

So, I did.  I started the fast, got the kids ready, made sure Julia was ready, and we were on our way to the Mooso's church.

The blessing was wonderful.  Brandon did such a good job...  Yup it was pretty impressive.

Anyway....  I ended up bearing my testimony today, and it felt really good to do so.  I felt like I was able to accurately express my heart's feelings and all was well.

Throughout the day, I noticed I had much more patience and much more atentiveness to the Sprit, my family, others, etc...  than I thought I would.  In fact, I ended up not even needing my monster, which is mildly unbelievable.

So...  Today was filled with the Spirit, family, good times, good food, and lots of smiles from everyone.  It was just a very good Sabbath.
