Lately, I've been feeling a pretty intense lack of the Spirit in my life. I've been unsuccessfully trying to pin it down to something specific and it's driving me kind of crazy.

Well, today at church, I decided to try something for one week, hopefully longer, but definitely one week. I'm seriously going to do my best to base all my decisions on one thing, and one thing only:Â Strengthening my family.

If I'm presented with any decision, from getting up in the morning to struggling with sin, this week I am dead-set on asking myself which choice would strengthen my family more, and making that choice.

As I was deciding this, a quote from our prophet Gordon B. Hinckley came to mind. Among other things, he said "...It's time to choose the right regardless of the consequences..." For some reason, that *really* impacted me and was pretty much the deal-closer.

We'll see what time brings, but I honestly will strive to base all my decisions on strengthening my family for at least this week.
