Getting Real...
Today was spent with my good friend, and brother, Ryan (and his family, who happens to love my family!)

We spent the day moving all sorts of large items from our home into the storage space we're renting.  From the kitchen table and chairs, to the couch downstairs, to the hutches - we made two trips full of items, with our mini-van and Dad's truck, full.

Bittersweet.  It's now obvious to everyone, in almost any room in the house (except the studio), that we're moving.  It looks, and feels, a bit hollow.  We'll continue boxing, loading, and taking items which have been here 8 years, to the space, until the house is empty, ready for its new occupants to enjoy it as we have.

I'm sure I'll miss this place.  I already do, and this wasn't expected.

Tonight I had a studio session with a long-time client who wanted to get in a few last sessions before the studio closes down.  My last studio session will be the day after tomorrow, and Friday evening will be spent organizing, boxing up, and moving all the studio items... preamps, monitors, drums, guitars, amplifiers, mixing consoles, and the computer will be prepared to wait while their new home is built.

This studio has been very good to me.

Got a lot to do tomorrow...  Need to focus on how to get it done the best way possible.

It's a very good thing that I'm going to be ricidulously busy these next few weeks.
