Moroni : 2
So, these chapters are pretty small, but for some reason, I think there's quite a significance in this one.  Not quite sure if I've found it yet, but the reason I think this, is - originally, this text was not included in the scripture - and it is Christ talking himself.  I wonder why Moroni felt the need, or was inspired to include it?  That's why I think this one may be important.

As far as the chapter itself goes, I find it interesting that the power of giving the gift of the Holy Ghost wasn't given to the disciples unconditionally.  There was one condition.  It was to pray unto God, and not only pray, but pray mightily.  Only after completing that step, would they have the power to bestow the Holy Ghost.

I'm not sure if one should exist or not, but at the moment, I can't think of any blessing which is given that comes without a price.  The pattern also follows that the blessings which come from paying the price always exceeds the requirement - by a long shot.  Following Christ leads to an upward spiral of knowledge, spirituality, wisdom, and of course, faith, hope, and charity.  All leading toward perfection.

I love studying the Gospel.  I just wish I rememered how much I enjoy it, when I let months go by without...  Not this time, though.  I'm in it to win it!
