Progress Continues...
Aside from being booked solid last week, Advanced Budget Studios has made some progress on the techinical side as well.  Up until now, we have only been able to handle 8 simultaneous streams of audio into the workstation, however, due to the success we've been having, we saw a need to upgrade.  We now have two M-audio delta 1010's synced up to provide a 16-stream recording capability.  Considering that we're a one-room studio, this might be overkill, but at this rate, it's only a matter of time until we move the studio to a larger space, and when that happens, we want to be ready and capable of handling whatever our clients throw at us.

We also bought two new Apex 205 ribbon mics, and will be modifying them shortly to record even higher fidelity.

We also happened upon a new little percussion instrument which will be arriving for studio use in a few weeks.  It's called the Rock Box cajon, and for acoustic-sounding mixes, this little gem is gonna provide sounds and mixes our clients won't be able to get anywhere else.

Thank you all for making our little studio a success!
