1st Nephi : 10
First Nephi Ten...

I'm not really in a spiritual mood right now, which really is unfortunate because I know this chapter has some spiritual meat to it.

One thing I can write, is when I read this chapter during my mission, and even before, I always found myself focusing on Nephi's desire to see the things his father did (in verse 17).

He didn't just "wish" to see the vision of Lehi.  In chapter 11, we find that he also knew that the Lord was able to show the vision unto him.  He was also pondering in his heart when the Spirit took him and he beheld the vision.

Much more is required by us than mere wishing, to be shown the mysteries of God - to any level.
