XML is....
something I've never really learned?

Yup. Today was the day I found out that one major part of my new job is to handle a data feed made purely of XML. Do I know anything about XML? Yes.. But have I ever done anything with it? Yes. How much? One simple little flash dealio, and I did that over 3 years ago. So... My point?

I've gotta learn XML pretty darned quickly, and I've gotta learn how to parse it quickly, too.

Something I learned today is that PHP 5 is *much* better at parsing than PHP 4. I learned it in theory because I have yet to actually do anything with either.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to test everything out.

Anyway... Every day is one day closer to the day something new happens. Man.. I need help.

Talk to ya later.
